  • Urban Outfitters — Product Detail Pages Visit site

Acted as lead architect and developer for UO's new approach to their product detail pages. Each stands alone as a service-driven single-page-application, with the front end properly de-coupled from the back end. Built proudly with AngularJs.

  • A new look at WordPress Visit site

Everyone knows that editing and adding content in Wordpress is great for the uninitiated, but the 'website' side of things can be cumbersome... We built a blogging/microsite framework that hooks into the content management front end of WordPress, while delivering content via MongoDB, Python, and AngularJs.

  • URBN unified checkout Visit app

I acted as the brand lead developer for the launch of URBN’s cross-site, unified checkout system. Again, built with AngularJs.

  • PA Problem Gambling Visit site

PA Problem Gambling educates and offers help to Pennsylvanians with gambling problems. It won a 2011 Gold Addy Award for best Single Medium Campaign.

  • Sunoco Visit site

Certainly the most expansive project I've ever worked on, Sunoco Inc. trusted Neiman to completely redo their severely antiquated web presence, and have been extremely pleased with the results. Work included desktop and mobile sites, email campaigns, and user management.

  • Neiman Labs Visit site

Neiman has been receiving high accolades for their internal R&D department. With experiments like, gocrowdless.com, Phightin's Phever, Philly Steakout, and Cheer Tracker we have been showing exactly what's possible with "big data."

  • We Are Neiman Visit site

Neiman's website is a simple, easy to use solution, of which I am very proud.

A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Illustration, Nick comes with a mixed background of design, illustration, technology, carpentry, and historic window glazing. Previously working as an application developer for Ingram Digital, he spent his days writing some pretty high-level HTML, CSS and JavaScript that powered several websites, content management systems, and most notably, a full, front-end audio editing system.

In October of 2010, Nick joined Neiman (now a&g) as a developer. With Neiman, he has had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of clients to produce award winning campaigns and highly innovative applications.

After 2.5 amazing years with Neiman, it was time for me to move onward and upward, so I joined the team at Urban Outfitters. With Urban, I really honed my JavaScript skills and started building some awesome apps using AngularJs.

Nick enjoys cycling, craft beers, portraiture, fine woodworking, and the entire Electric Light Orchestra catalogue. He has been referred to as "the Champagne of Dudes" and is pleased to make your acquaintance.
